After seeing all these cool shifters for a manual car and myself owning an auto I had to figure a way I could use the ones for a manual. The main problem is that you have the push button the autos to get out of park. So my idea is that I'm going to install a selonid or door lock acuator to the rod coming from the shifter to memic me pushing the buttton. I was thinking of going with one of thoe racerboys from vrad and hooking the selonid or accutaor to one of the buttons on it. Has anyone done this before or know if its going to work or not?

probabbly work, but don't bump it while driving unless it releases.

Easier way = Toucan Industries (Ractive) already makes shift "knobs"  for auto tranny.
