I had a alarm installed in my truck about 3-4 years ago and I had them install a DEI 530T for my front 2 windows. Everything worked just fine for about 2 years and then I started to have a problem. When I rolled up the windows they would stop every few inches, I would push the up button again and only a few more inches it would go.
If I "help" the windows up they go all the way and it seems worse if the truck i not running.
Both windows do it and it does not always stop in the same spots. When the window does stop going up I hear a click come from the DEI 530T. I already replaced one DEI 530T unit and the windows seemed to have a bit less trouble going up but it got worse over time. I check the resistance levels and I have all of the switches on the device flipped up, if I flip them dowm it's alot worse.
Not sure if its the device, the wiring job or the window motors.
Thanks

Sounds like bad teeth on the gear or rail.
