I am installing 2 radios that pull say 3 amps continious, and 20 amps if operated together.

I will need a relay to energize when the ignition comes on and to hook the radios to.

could any one suggest type and supplier?

Any bosche pattern automotive relay rated at 20-40 amps. Your local auto factor or Radioshack store.
