I am going to be running a Nustart 4502 alarm/starter in my 2009 Volkswagen Jetta, NON diesel, I also will be using a blade AL

I am looking to hook up Rear Defrost, Heated Seats and Heated Mirrors

Rear Defrost is a         positive latched syatem

Heated Seats are        5 wire system

Heated Mirrors are      negative system

Now I am wondering how I can hook all of this up so I can use these features through my remote, relay diagrams and any info would be great

Mike

1 question, do the rear window and heated mirrors turn off after a while?   As well with the mirrors you'll probably have to go into both doors.

The reason is that if they don't turn off, just connect the second igniton and leave them on overnight.

If you use the ADS-DLSL CA2 it will take care of the rear defrost for you. As far as the heated seats go, just leave the heated seat in the ON position before you leave the vehicle. Set to 6 on the drivers side and it will be toasty for you when you get in. The heated mirrors you will need to use the AUX 1 wire to trigger but you will need to see if it's a pulsed (-) or a latched (-).

thanks for the replies

to the first poster, I am not sure if the mirrors turn off cause there is no lights or anything that tell me otherwise, I will have to test, i figured that I would have to go into the doors for the mirror wires, thats the only info I have been able to find

to the second poster, I would like to use the blade AL or the multi series cause that is what I stock at work, and I also like the discount i get, but if I did use the solo series module how does it control the rear defrost, does it turn it on automatically or does it turn it on at a set temperature, if I wire it up to work with the remote how would I go about it??

I never really thought of that, I guess I could leave the rotating wheel in the on position for the seats, but if I really want to wire them up to the remote how would I go about doing that??

for the mirrors how would I test the wire to see if it is latched or pulsed?? and how would I wire up the relay or relays??

any help would be great

Mike
