I have looked at the info on this site re relays but I am still confused.
I have an LED light strip I want to connect to the relay switch.
When the rocker switch is on, the LED light strip is on and the large light on the rocker switch is on.
when the rocker switch is off, the LED light strip is off and the small light on the rocker switch is on.
BUT when I turn the car ignition switch off, I don't want the rocker switch to still illuminate, I only want power to the rocker switch when the car ignition is on.
can someone please explain how I wire this to work with the car ignition switch only and not be powered constantly from the car battery, but in real simple terms please. thx
