Air and heat will only blow out the defrost vents on top of the dash. I have found a loose vacuum line under the hood but cannot find a place to plug it in There is no vacuum on the line so I am assuming I am looking for a vacuum source But I can't find it .1998 Safari van with a 4.3  can anyone send me a vacuum diagram for this van?or give me a hint the vision iis limited under the hood because it is a van.

Thanks

This is a common problem with these vans. The hard plastic vacuum line runs from the driver's side engine compartment over the hot engine to a vacuum "T" on the left side of the engine. There is vacuum reservoir mounted to the passenger side inner fender. It looks like a black palstic ball. A vacuum line runs off this to the "T" which is just beside the A/C condensor. Use rubber vacuum line to connect the two pieces. The plastic line melts on the top of the motor just forward of the throttle body. Use a light and you will find both ends of the line.

I can't find where the hard plastic starts from on the motor ,  although I have found two more brittle broken pieces laying in front of the throttle body on top of the motor. Where did it go on the motor?
My two cents
