I have a 98 Range Rover 4.6hse with the Clarion 6 CD changer. I need to test the cable connecting this to the radio unit. Does anyone have a wiring diagram please?

I think it is standard on all CD changers, can I replace the Clarion with a different make?

Thank you

Thomas

Why are you needing to check the cable?     No you can not put any changer in place of the OEM unit.  The head unit talks to the changer via a Brand Specific Protocol.  Alpine changers do not understand Clarion instructions.  Peripheral makes adapters to allow some OEM decks communicate with different changers.  You need to check to see if they make something for your vehicle.
