Hello, just found this place and it looks like a ton of good info. I am trying to install a remote power mirror switch for a 99-02 Mercury Cougar into my Jeep Grand Wagoneer.

I have the wiring information for the Jeep, but need to know what each wire on the Mercury switch is for.

Can anyone provide the Remote Power Mirror Switch wiring information for a 1999-2002 Mercury Cougar?

hi,

notch at top, starting from upper left as pin 1, from left to right

pin1...pass left/right motor, pin 2... not used, pin 3...driv left/right motor, pin 4...ground, pin 5...motor common, both driv & pass, pin 6...+ 12 volts, pin 7...pass up/down motor, pin 8...driv up/down motor.
