I am in the process of installing a CrimeStopper 900 on a 1999 Dodge Ram.  I have followed the wiring diagram from this website and the installation instructions from CrimeStopper.

The door locks work perfect.  But when I press the remote start button, the truck will start and run for maybe 2 seconds and then shutoff.  The installation instructions show a diagram for hooking a relay up for the starter.  I tried that and still no luck.  I am using a multimeter to test everything before I hook into it and all wires that I have used show the correct voltage.

I don't think the vehicle has an anti-theft system.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Let the truck idle until warm and then relearn your tach signal for the system.
