I am installing a RS that is an add on type (design-tech # 20022). I wish to use the positive pulse on the drivers side unlock motor to power a reversing relay to give the RS its neg pulse to initatate the start sequece. Can any one help. Also this unit ONLY starts no keyless or alarm.

wire arelay this way

PIN 86 to wire door lock or unlock motor in car

pin 85 and 87 to ground

pin 30 to remote start input negative

pin 87a not used

good luck

LOCK MOTOR|gray | |driver door module in door |

| UNLOCK MOTOR|tan | |driver door module in door

I notice the 12 pin connector on the fuse block. when I unplug it the driver door motor is inop, also a small black wire pulses when ever the motor is locked or unlocked. I think am at the wrong wire.

You said tan for unlock and grey for lock...and the Mod is IN the door?? is there any other known location?? I know an 02 chevy it is in the driver kick panel.

Is this wireing also the same for a 03 sivlerado?
