I installed an Astra remote start in a 96 chevy truck IU meticuously  wired everything together according to the diagram. But it continues to spin the start until the brake pedal is pressed. basically it will run forever until you turn it off. (The starter)

Is there anything I can be testing with a voltmeter to determine what is wrong?

I really appreciate your help!

did you use a tach wire, or voltage sense.

I hooked up the tach wire but it also has tachless mode. I have tried both and it does the exact same thing, the starter spinns forever.

Sounds to me like the module is feeding a 2nd ignition to a starter wire, check your Ign,Starter, and Acces wires again.

Try it in the "tach run mode" and find the section to "program or learn the tach rate". That solved this problem for me.
