I tried today and i couldn't find the keyless entry module. I don't see an white module by the kick panel. I see several relays and other wires..Is it possible that it is located under the drivers seat?

Thats right,

I am just troubleshooting a 2000 1.6EL, the 99-00 with keyless/sec. has the module under neath the driver seat.

The module will contain 2 plugs, and for better access you can remove the lid, as you can not remove the module...or I couldn't anyways.

The module is the keyless. You can access these wires thru the driver kick panel, or from the module:

Door trigger is LightGREEN/ RED,

Trunk trigger, Blue/Black

LOCK, GREEN / WHITE

UNLOCK, GREEN/ Orange

Parking lights, RED / Blk

Not jackin your post but this may help us both as we are working on the same car.

The owner tells me that 'here and then' the factory will go off, honk honk, and therefore can not leave the Acura remote at home. The doors lock/unlock through the BlackWidow alarm but sometimes the factory goes off. I am having some troubles getting the factory to disarm fully.

Does anyone know 99-2000 Acura 1.6EL w/keyless entry & security installed options:

-Disarming factory security/or removal/bypass

-Trunk release wire, neg or pos pulse? relay used?

Good Luck and if you can help me figure this out also, be great!!!

ERiC
