Hi All,

New to the site, but it looks awesome.  Hope somebody can offer up some advice on my situation.  I was given a Polar Start remote car starter (Model PS-2600, version 2.3-234) and would like to install it in my 2000 Chevy Astro Van. At a glance the wiring seems pretty straight forward, but just to be safe...has anyone ever done one of these installs, but if not, would you know where I could find an installation schematic?  Thanks a lot!

p.s. don't know if it makes a diff, but van is automatic, overdrive, power locks and cruise control.

Tweekin' and Geekin in search of that little extra sumthin'-sumthin'!

That model is made by Autostart. You may be able to get the schematics/programming online from them. The unit is very old. I would suggest not using it unless it is still new in the box. You can pick a newer version of it at Canadian tire. Their Prostart models are the newer version of the one you have and they are inexpensive. Check the weekly flyer. You will also need a bypass for the van's Passlock II system.
