ok i need to add a flip out screen under the stock radio in a 2002 c320 benz, heres my question, hes getting a alpine head unit with the built in tuner and everything else its the new model comoing out just like the ivac800
but he doesnt want to take out the stock head unit, you think if i just use a fm modulator and come out of one of the rca outs for the fronts in to the modulator ill be ok, it will sound fine????
also anyone ever install anything like this in that car with out and brackets,u made your own??? please help if u can on howe i can secure it

Chances are the Benz has a OEM amplifier. Try to find a peripheral for the OEM deck first. If this guy is serious about sound as he is about his vehicle, he won't want cheap out and get an FM mod for the sound.

some of the new benz's have digital sound systems with fiber optics running to the factory amps - could make integrating into the existing system difficult if FM is not an option

i already put an fm modulator in the car already for the xm radio, thats no problem the problem is willl that i dea work for running the dvd sound and the xm radio now thru the new head unit ?
