Help!

I just installed an Alpine IVA-W205 w/ Blackbird Navigation into my 06 Honda Odyssey w/ four headrest monitors.  We tried to get the STOCK flip down monitor to work with the Alpine but nothing!  Literally 5 hours of trying to figure it out, but the stock wires of my Odyssey won't jive in anyway with the Alpine.  Has anybody succeeded in this install yet?  Many thanks.

i don't know of any success w/ that type of unit... i have done it with gm and ford pretty easily.... first thing i can ask is this... are u tryin to dual zone the rear seat overhead.. or do u just want it to show the same thing coming out of the alpine??? if so... does it have an aux in on the front of it.. of on the source unit it came with???? i remember replacing a defective one for a customer and the factory dvd player was in the front below the radio.... i think it has a data turn on from the stock head unit.... so u might have to blow up the stock headunit.. find a place to stash it in the dash or something... and then just use the aux input on the front of the stock dvd if it has one...... u can probably open the dvd player up and just solder connectors to the board inputs for a clean install.... lemme know if this helps....
there can be only one.......
