I currently have an Eclipse AVN52D with Ipod and Bluetooth modules in the dash of my 2008 Toyota 4Runner SR5. I just received the Audiovox Movies2Go 9.2 inch headrest monitors (w/o DVD player) I plan to install soon.

I would like to use the single video output on my AVN52D to send a video signal to both headrest monitors just so my 2 year old daughter can watch some movies on longer trips.

Would a simple Y splitter allow me a decent video signal on both monitors from my single video output on the AVN52D or is an add on video amplifier needed to get a decent video signal on both monitors? I do not plan to add any additional monitors later.

Please let me know and thanks.

I usually use good quality "Y" spliters and RCA's. I haven had any problem and when I see lines going accross thats when I add an amp video signal. Hope that helps

Thanks for the tip. I'll try that first. Hopefully, I will be fine.
