I have a pyle dvd player connected to the factory navi. with the car off (engine not running), the audio is fine, no interference or static.
when i turn the car on (engine running), there is crackling/ static that comes along with the audio. even when i skip chapters, there is an odd noise similar to static.
i hooked up an ipod to the audio connector and no static noise. i'm beginning to believe it's the pyle unit itself.
has anyone dealt with this situation and resolved it?
i am an idiot

you need to try a ground loop isolator.  Preferably a Pac-audio.com  SNi-1  If you are feeding signal into a 1/8 inch input, they now make one for that application.  It is called a SNi-1-3.5

Let's Go Brandon Brown. Congratulations on your first Xfinity Series Win. LGBFJB
