I just purchased a alpine ixa-w407 unit. Inused PAC tr7 for bypass. Here's the problem. After install when I power the unit up all I get is a white screen and I can hear the radio static. After messing with it I can change to random radio station because white screen still there and I can't see nothing. So my problem is the white screen. Did I hook up something wrong or is the screen toasted. For the PAC tr7 I try wiring it with out programming because it come program already for alpine unit. I also try to program it as well by pulsing brown wire , green wire to remote, blue to foot brake and white to hand brake. Still nothing but white screen. Also when I connect my iPhone 4 to it nothing plays. I thought right when you hook it up the unit should automatically play. Maybe I'm wrong because white screen is there and I can see nothing or the playlist. Please someone help.

Disconnect from power and reconnect. If problem persists you have a DOA unit. Bring back to the place you bought it from and they will have to warranty it for you.

Went to change for new unit today. It's still doing same thing. I know someone here has to know what's going on.
