I bought a used Kenwood Vz907 in dash screen/tv tuner a few weeks ago. Been working great. The other day i was working on my aftermarket power window kit replacing a switch and accidently grounded a hot wire for a split second and noticed my radio shut off ( was playing a cd with the screen closed ) then it came back on a second later. Now my screen has like a yellow tint to it and it is darker. Could i have permanently damaged the screen somehow?

What wire did you short out? Have you tried re-adjusting the video settings? Yes it is possible that you damaged the lcd.

It was just the fused wire from my fuse panel to my power windows, i'm thinking maybe it backfed through the ground and screwed something up.
