I have Clarion TTX 7101 TV tuner as part of my system and am trying to use the Rear Vision option port to connect a rear-view camera. I have a Clarion CCA-389 cable which has the correct connector for the port and have hooked it up to a video source, but my head-end unit (DRX-7475) will not display  the video for that source. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get it to work?

Thanks,

i cant find any in on this product to even check out the manuals and try to help.. is this a indash screen or something.
if it is an indash screen than it will have a wire that needs to be grounded in order to get picture.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

The TTX7101 is a stand-alone Clarion C-Bus TV tuner that is controlled by my headend unit, a Clarion DRX7475. In addition to being a VHF/UHF tuner it has two sets of AV inputs, which I am currently using. Clarion makes a power supply module (CAA-188) that interfaces between the rear view camera and the tuner input but I haven't been able to locate one to purchase. I was hoping to fool the option port into thinking that it was hooked to the power supply module and allowing the option port video info to be displayed.

I have a line diagram and basic component info of my system here: <http://home.earthlink.net/~tjhannink/AV_System_Diagram_and_Product_Specs.htm>

A copy (pdf) of the owners manual is on the Clarion website < http://www.clarion.com/home.htm>, select [MANUALS] from the top menu bar, then [Manuals - Multimedia] on the FAQ's and Manuals page, select [NEXT], its on the 3rd page in.

Thanks,
