Guess that last post didnt work.  Just bought a 2004 Trailblazer LS EXT and wanting to hook up a DVD player and two screens. I cannot find any power wires that power on and off with the ignition. Where can i find a wire that i can tap into or if there is one specifically one for it.? Thanks in advance for any help someone can give me, Dennis

Have you tried the ignition harness?

Wasn's sure if I wanted to do that yet. Didn't want to mess anything up. I read a few on here but they were all about radio hookups. So you think I should use the ign wiring? Is this the only place you know of? Like what about when you get the DVD system from the factory? I am sure that is not wired into the ign harness. Thanks

Use the PINK wire in the IGNITION HARNESS for any of your switched ignition hookups. Other than this location you could meter a fuse connection, but you run the risk of blowing a fuse if the amperage draw is higher than the rated fuse. Using the ignition harness will ensure that this doesn't happen.
