I was wondering what the heck I need to do so that I can drive my car and have my in dash monitor on at the same time I know taht it has something to do with the parking brake lead but I wanted to make sure that if I put it on a switch that is connected directly to ground if that will fix it. Let me know. Also I have a friend who has a alpine and he has to turn the brake on flip the switch turn brake off flip switch etc... I don't really want that if there is no way to avoid it then fine but I would rather have it flip switch and it works simple you know.

All you need to do is run the e brake wire straight to ground.  It is there for saftey puposes.  I would recommend to run it through a switch and then to ground so that you can disable the screen if you want to.     Brian
