GM chime onstar wont stop

2005 silverado crew cab with bose and onstar, I had a kenwood 6019 unit put in my truck.  The installer used a Neucleus  ncgm39b for the onstar gm chime unit. If you open the door before u take the key out of the ignition the chime will not turn off. (it will keep on chiming with the doors shut  or open,) the only way of turning it off is to turn the light switch on then off real quick. He then changed it and put in a soudgate digx01106 unit and that unit does the same thing plus i have noise pop when u turn the car off and engine noise in the speakers now.  any help would be nice thanks.
