I have a chance to pick up an AVIC N2 for $620 +tax.  It seems like a good deal but has a couple of problems.  It doesn't come with a box, manuals, or the navigation DVDs.  The unit itself works like new, it was the display at my local Best Buy.  Thought I would see what you all thought.  any advise or personal opinions (guess their kinda the same in this situation) would be appreciated.

the question is does it come w/ warranty? the disks are going to cost you about $250 that will bring the cost to $870 for a unit that has probably been on display for a while.  with warranty i say its a good deal with out a warranty it up in the air because it is the cheepist you will ever find it but if it breaks your out a fat chunk of loot

you can get the nav disks you need from ebay for about $30, give or take a few bucks..  pioneer's warranty is a joke, looks like you got yourself a deal.  AVIC-N2 deal, good or not? -- posted image.
