I am installing a Panasonic CQ-VD7003U, into a BMW 3 Series w/Harmon Kardon System. I am able to listen to the radio with no problems, but when I put in a dvd I only get video and no audio from any speakers. I haven't touch any of the settings yet so they are all default. I am not farmiliar with Panasonics and have no idea what the problem is.

I am not familiar with your deck but it sounds an awful lot like you may have connected the power antenna wire instead of the amp remote wire to turn on the factory amp.

Check the wires on the head unit and if there are 2 blue wires one solid and one with a white stripe use the other one
