Hi having prombles install the DB-All into my Toyota Tacoma 2009.
There is no mention of the Tacoma in the install manually for the
DB-All kit but does bring it up as a compatable so i installed it as a type 1 TL1 but it isnt learning the truck. It just stays on orange and doesn't turn to green. also when its on orange light the door locks
wont lock when you try and lock them they just bonce back open? does this work with my Tacoma or not? any one installed one in a 2009 Tacoma?
thanks for your help

I would call DEI Tech Support on that one.  According to their supported functions list, the DB-ALL only handles the transponder bypass function for the Tacoma and nothing else.  The DB-ALL seems a bit overkill in that application as there are other  bypass modules that will do the same for less.

The solid Orange light during programming is correct if the DB-ALL does not support the HSCAN bus for that vehicle.  The HSCAN connections supply all the Status signals and the Tach & Brake signals shown in the Type 1 install diagram from the 12 Pin connector.

As a guess, if you wanted to use the DB-ALL as a transponder bypass only,

in D2D mode the only other connections required are :

DB-ALL

10 Pin
Pin 9 Pink --->  Heavy IGN1 @ Remote Starter which continues to Ignition 1 @ Tacoma

12 Pin

Pin 7 Gray/Black --->  DB-ALL 10 Pin connector, Pin 9, Pink wire
Pin 10 Yellow/Black to Tacoma Transponder 7 Pin connector, Pin 5, Light GREEN/ Red
Pin 11 ORANGE / Black to Tacoma Transponder 7 Pin connector, Pin 4, Pink/Green

Not sure how the Type 1 module programming would go without the HSCAN connected...

Soldering is fun!
