when i turn my truck on in the morning there is no power to my radio, the clock will not display and the unit will not turn on. after a few minutes it will light up and if i press the power switch, the radio along with the clock will turn on and off for a few minutes by itself. once it goes through this process it is fine the rest of the day.

is this a internal problem with the unit or something else?

Are you able to remove the headunit from the dash in order to test it?

i can remove the unit from the dash, but i have no way of testing it. any ideas off the top of your head on what it could be?
