I'm replacing the whole stereo system in my 2002 Passat w/ monsoon and would like to know if anyone has done this before. I heard that there is a certain procedure for doing so, otherwise there are pieces flying.

Any help will be very appreciated.

check the Haynes or Chiltons books on the Passat to see. they give very detailed step by step directions, and can usually be found in the public library if not an auto store
