I have a command start 2400 with a CS-306 transmitter.
When the start button is activated, the signal light will blink 9 times, and that's all, nothing else happen's. it was working fine untill now.
Does anyone know's what it means and how to fix it. Check the battery and it's good.

I just happened to be searching for info on my CS2400 as I was having the same problem. Lucky for me I came accross this bb. Command Start is out of business and there is not much out there. Needless to say, I followed your advice and my unit works perfectly now. I just hope I do not loose the remote as I do not where I would find one.
Once again, Thanks

Command Start did not go out of business, they went into receivership and the company as a whole is not together, but yo can still get new and warranty parts for it. The warranty is being done through a shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba and the distribution is still being done through major distributors out East and in Central Canada.

I registered just to post this reply.  Thanks for the info on the Command Start CS2400.  Mine started giving the exact same symptoms around the end of November.  Outside temp was no more than -10C, but I got the same 9 flashes of the Turnsignal lights.  Disconnecting the Battery(s) for over 15 seconds did the trick.  Thanks for the info.  I will spend some time browsing this site to see what else I can learn.
