I was just wondering what would be the best way to go about beefing up my power for my stereo system to maximize the full potential of it.  I have a 1993 Chevy 1500 & running 2 amps on 3 subs with the option to go bigger amps/subs.  I've heard that you can take your factory alternator & get it beefed up & add another battery w/ isolator or would it be better to just buy a high output alternator & how much would i be looking at?  Any suggestions or ideals would be greatly appreciated.

But a high output alternator to start with and you probably won't need anything else. I wouldn't try to "beef up" my stock one. I got mine from www.4alterstart.com and it has been great.
