Ok, please forgive me for asking such a dumb question, but i've never done anything like this but would like the feature...as many of the 1996 Chrysler Sebring LXi owners notice, when using the keyless entry, we do not have a chrip from the horn or light flash when arming/disarming the alarm. So i was advised that this forum could help me...so far i've been able to find out how to do it on aftermarket alarms and keyless entry , but not on how to do it with the factory alarm.............PLEASE someone give me a step by step procedure on how to make my horn beep/lights flash with the factory keyless entry system........this would be greatly appreciated.96 Chrysler Sebring LXi keyless entry -- posted image.

This works in my head, but I guess you'll have to try it out. The Dodge uses a (-) trigger wire to lock and unlock the doors. You need to find the lock/unlock wire and hook this up to a relay that will trigger the parking lights/horn or both. Are you familiar with the where abouts of the door lock wire and also the parking lights & horn wires ?

To unlock only the drivers door on models with keyless entry. Use BROWN / blue negative (-) trigger at the relays behind the radio.

To lock use RED / blue behind the glove box in a harness.

Each of these wires uses a (-) trigger and what you want to do is wire them to trigger the light flash with this diagram: (1) relay required for EACH function ( lock & unlock )

The parking lights are GREEN / WHITE in the driver's kick panel and requries a (+) from the output pin 30 of the relay above.

For the horn honk, you need another (2) relays like above but set up the relay like this:

The horn wire is GREEN/ black at the steering cloumn.
