I need to find out what wire i can use as an input to my kenwood radio for the dimmer. i had a radio installed before and then it was stolen but this time around i want to install it my self . the radio use to get dimm when i put my head lights on... so there must be away to dim the radio. Any help would be greatly appreciated

depends on the aftermarket headunit you are installing, it may or may not have a dimmer option on it...What is the model number of the kenwood you are installing??

its a kenwood excelon top end unit. its about a year and a half old.

the kenwood should have an orange wire on it.. universal color for dimmer/illumination..   On the civic, connect to RED / black wire for lights..
