Look around on this web site and I would say on the web.  There is quite a lot of information out there.  Some companies provide installation instructions on-line.  This is the case I believe for ProStart and for BullDog Security.  One thing I'm glad I did'nt do on my first install is to solder the wires.  It is much easier to make modifications/corrections if the wires are tied together as per the instructions with t he BullDog Security systems.  Then, when it works fine, if you want, redo all connections and solder them.

In my case, the instal is definitively not as per the instructions... we have to figure it out and get a feel for the car's electrical system (understand it).

You'll find that there are many "wire diagrams" that correspond with your car but they can show quite different data.  In my case, a couple of guys (including BullDog tech support) were trying to convince me that I had a black accessory wire on top of the BLACK/ green one... well, I'm not yet color blind and i did not have that wire.... but other wiring diagrams had all my wires but I got all possible (almost) combinations of ignition/accessory possibilities for these three accessory wires.  I decided what they were after I tested the ignition switch myself.  Not that it would matter that much... the remote starter was starting the car when one of these was connected as ignition 2 on my remote starter.

Good luck!
