installing a switch

hello all,

i was wondering how to install a swith in my car, for a neon light in my car i ran the power and grounded it but how to i install the switch

ummmmmm..............not to be a jerk, I don't mean to....did you read the directions? 

ok, what kinda light is it....the one where you gotta run a transformer, and all the other good stuff...or the kind that plugs into a cigarette lighter?

DUH

my bad....I'm outta it....my mind went somewhere else for some weird reason....

The switch will go inline with the power wire... ( which I'm going to assume is like 14ga. )

the switch should be marked...one side 12V Constant, one side will be Switched 12V or something...

The constant side goes towards the battery, the switched side goes towards the light...( than again if this is an unlighted switch it doesn't matter..)

note..if you have a lighted switch, you will have three prongs ( male spades )...one of them is ground, that way the cool little led light comes on ....that's all that's to it...
