I'm installing a Bulldog remote starter in a 99 Windstar. All of the wiring color codes check out except for two of the ignition wires. The WHITE/ Yellow ignition wire is hot when the key is in the RUN and CRANK positions, but the Violet/Orange and Yellow ignition wires are hot in the RUN position only. Bulldog gave me very little help or assurance. Do I just blindly hook these up and try it, or should these wires be hot in the RUN and CRANK positions as the manually genericly says? I've searched for wires of the same color, thinking I might have the wrong one, but there aren't any to be found.

The wire color codes given by any remote start manufacterer is only a guideline.  If you use your meter and the colors are different, your meter is correct!  As you install more of these you will rely less on the wire codes in the packages...Use your meter readings, you'll be fine..
