how do i fine out if my car power door lock are normally open or closed, it's an 1999 integra gsr:  it's a 3 wire negative(-) type?

the lock motors are voltage reversing . the relays are normally closed triggered by a negative signal from the switch . the lock are not open or closed just reversing depending on voltage applied.

POWER LOCK|BLACK/ white         |-  |drivers kick panel

POWER UNLOCK|BLACK/ red       |-  |drivers kick panel

In the larger of two attached gray plugs in the lower kick near the firewall. If equipped with cruise control, the plugs are behind the module. To access, remove the lower bolt on the bracket holding the module and pull it up out of the way. The lock wires test only with the passenger lock and unlock switch.
