Hello,

I just received my PLDATA bypass module. I need to know how to install it, the directions are not very clear, and i also need to know which connector to use. 2 came with the PLDATA, a 10pin connector and a 5pin connector. Could someone please tell me what connector to use, and what wires i have to hook up. I have a 99 GMC sonoma, and the alarm is a Autopage rs750. thanks a lot.

Well assumming it is the same pldata I use it is very simple.  There are a bunch of wires you don't need.  Off the top of my head, orange +12v, black ground, purple to purple (pin 2) of the data link connector of the truck and last is the brown to the - out while running from the remote start.  Then you turn the key on and crank the motor but no need to start.  Light will flash 4?? times then you chance the jumper to the bottom 2 pins.

follow the wires and see or look at a wiring diagram if you have one.

only problem with those is if you lose power to the vehicle they have to be reprogrammed.
