Aight here is a pic of the dash...

need help asap -- posted image.

I have sanded and used resin and sanded and the paint is not comin off..

What should i use to get it off or should i just fiberglass over top of the silver?

Rough it up and fiberglass over top of the dash. If you are going to be changing the shape of the dash in any way, I suggest drilling holes into the dash before fiberglassing so the fiberglass has something to grab onto. Otherwise, you will find in time the fiberglass will release from the dash .

Alright i'll just fiberglass over top because i'm just fiberglassing the whole thing and not changing the shape.

Im a newb, especially to fiberglass, but I'm goin to start experimenting soon.  Why do you want to fiberglass the dash if you're not changing the shape?  Just for a different texture?
