fiberglassing from the inside

This is probobly a stupid question but here goes. I was thinking about using fiberglass to make the front of a sealed 12" sub box angle inwards kind of like this box (except i would be using just a JL audio 12" W1.My question is that i have heard that you should fiberglass from the inside so the enclosure is stronger, but how would I have access to the inside of the box after I have wrapped the box in fleece (or what ever material i use) and put the first coat of resin on. I dont see how i could fiberglass it from the inside by reaching in from the outside. By the way the box i would be fiberglassing would have about 1.25 cubic feet of volume. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You do it in a two part process. Do the entire tub of the enclosure first and then thicken it up enough for the proper volume, then when you have the proper volume, you finish it off by placing the top on.Jeff

Im confused, is the tub the inside or the out?

The tub is the inside of the enclosure before the top gets fiberglassed on.Jeff

i think what Jeff was saying would be to build the box so that the front(where the sub will be) and the back( the opposite side of the enclosure) are open. you will have 4 sides. then mount your ring, lay the mold fabric, then resin it. from there you can add strength to the back side of the resined front thru the open back area. then when you have it strengthened, put the back on. that sounded more clear in my head, hope it came out that way.
