Gotta a quick question, I've heard bondo is a good "tool" persay to finnishing a glassing project filling divets and dimples, low spots ect ect. But my question is should you coat an entire project prior to sanding at all and smooth as much of it out as possible or should you go through the whole sanding phase and then go back and touch up blemishes that you couldn't quite sand out? Or both? I know bondo is more "forgiving" than glass to sand so coating the whole thing makes sense but I want to make sure..thanks for any tips

It makes alot of sense to just coat it with bondo so you don't get so much fg dust all over you. I'm not sure of this though.

Take a grinder, or some 24 grit sand paper to the fiberglass before you start the bondo, that way the bondo will for sure have something to hold on to, and you will have a little smoother surface to begin with.
