I'm almost done creating the MDF bas to my fiberglass box / amd rack. I need to know when i should sane the FG. Since this is going to be painted should i sand after every layer, every couple of layers, wait till i'm done and sand, or wait till i'm done then bondo then sand it.

wait till your done adding fiberglass mat/cloth sand down the outside till its smooth, then fill in the craters with bondo, sand, bondo, sand, bondo, sand untill you have the finish your looking for. If there's still a few bumps, gaps, dips, dont panic, use a high build primer, it will fill those out. Good luck.
