I install cell phone h/f car kits only. I'm trying to install the moto bluetooth t605. I want to know how I can connect to the car speakers without having to use a wire harness. can i just tap into the speaker wires behind the stereo? factory stereo on all. also has rca cable so that you can play music. I would like to know how i can connect these rca cable to radio if it doesn't have rca jacks on the back. new to this site. any help will be appreciated. thanks.

The radios are all factory installed. As to the type of vehicle, it will be any. At this point it's a general question and not directed towards any specific car. Thanks.

you need to get adapters that woudl connect to your factory radio and provide rca inputs.  I also install HFK and other systems and I find the t605 to be great.  Only thing is that you need a specific adapter for your car. Peripherals makes them, metra also just to mention a few.  By the way thats all you do? HFK's?  Only people I know that do that are Verizon Wireless installers who arent even allowed to use rca's in the installs they do.

I bought the system and I am trying to find the specific harness for my car. I drive a 2006 Subaru Impreza with the P133 sound system (Stock). I went around to all the installers in the area and they all want to mount that speaker to my dash, and that just aint happening. Motorolla is also lost, and I honestly have no idea about these things. If someone could point me towards the correct harness, that'd be great. Thanks!

Might not sound like the perfect solution (also looked up kits for your car)but you can return the kit and get a radio with built in bluetooth.  The only real good thing about the t605 is the fact that it can play your music from your bluetooth phone, but beware.....not all phones with stereo bluetooth will work on the system.  Now many aftermarket companies have bluetooth radios at affordable prices.  If you decide to go with it you can get the D3 which is TOTAL ENTERTAINMENT and just get the harness that is specific for your car.  Bluetooth(shows number on screen),video ipod, navigation, dvd playback, satellite radio, and of course your standard am/fm only for around 1000 or less..good luck

But I don't want to spend that kind of cash. Thing is, I like music, but I'm not crazy into audio or anything. It would just be nice if I could get into the car, make phone calls, maybe play a little music off my phone (which uses the A2DP prophile supported by the kit), and that's about it. The head unit I've got is fine, as so is the system, at least for me. Plus, I sell the stupid things, might as well have one myself. Just checking to see if anyone knows the exact harness that I would need, simply because I'm not really into this, and therefor have absolutely no idea which one it is that is required.

you might have to wait for a few till the manuf. comes out with the harness....If you can then look for the harness for the previous years model and see if it might work

Good luck finding any of the harnesses.  Few things you should know:

1)This was a poorly planned and non-tested rollout.  There are going to be months of problems and compatibility issues.  Trust me.   Been at this company 8 years.

2) If you can find a harness that will direct interface with your factory radio, it will only send the HFKs output through ur car speakers. (MONO voice) It would enable the radio mute function, and the kit would literally be tapping power from your radio, like a CD changer.  However, this would not give you any of the music from the phone.  The ONLY place that music goes, is out the RCA cable.

3) Speaking with the svc mgr of Circuit city (the only place this company is advertising it can be installed) the only adapters we could find were priced around $100 (cost) for an adapter "brain" that plugs into the CD changer data port on the OEM radio, giving you RCA inputs.

Cheapest most functional solution:

For about $40 you can find a high quality wireless FM modulator.  All it needs is power and ground, and you have RCA inputs ready to go.  Granted the fidelity isn't as true as a direct analog hookup, but most new modulators have stereo enhancers, giving them that radio stereo sound as opposed to that distant, low volume cassette sound of the older modulators.

MAKE SURE YOU CALIBRATE THE KITS!  (CENTER BUTTON PLUS UP OR DOWN FOR 6 SECONDS-- up for mono one speaker hookup, down for stereo)

Until I get some answers from higher ups- this is the best I can advise for the time being.
