i installed a set of PILOT H4-2 HID's in a 91 blazer (no DHL) i used an H4 harness with relays for both the high and low beams and the highs work but the HID's dont.
the HID's blink about 5 or 6 times but stay on for about 1-2 seconds then shut off
i have good grounds. i even ran a 2 gauge ground wire from the battery to where the HID grounds are and touched it to there and had someone turn on the headlights and they do the same thing.
now heres one thing i found by searching this forum, people say to use the ground wire coming from the stock harness, i did NOT do this, i used a nice new shiny spot on the fenders.......maybe this is my problem? should i run the grounds from the bulbs and relays to the factory h4 plug?
please help. thanks
