Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum. I'm trying to install floor lighting in my 07 Silverado. I want them to turn on/off when the door opens and closes. What wire should I splice into? I've tried looking for the door trigger wire with no success, according to other forums its a gray/black wire located at the BCM but still was not able to find it. I'm open to any suggestions... Also tried looking for a wire to splice into by Driver Door Fuse Panel, but don't know where to start. Any help would be amazing!

The door pin wire you are looking for is only for the driver's door and is found inside the door. You would be better off using the dome light wire at the dome light. It will respond to either door opening.
