I have a 2001 Ford F150 that I would like the fog lights to come on with my parking lights. The way that is is now is that the headlights must be manually turned on and the the switch pulled out to turn them on. I would like to set it on automatic and just leave it there and not have to use the switch. It seems just as simple as connecting the wire to the fog lights to the parking light wire behind the light switch. I know the parking light wire but not sure what color the fog lamp wire is. Any advice would be much appreciated.

How times change. Here it used to be illegal to have fogs on with main beams.
And as most will know, to have fogs on in fog with main beams totally defeats their purpose. They should call them bling or fling lights intead!
It could be as simple as changing the fog light wire(s) from the existing circuit to the park light circuit.
You probably can't just interconnect the fogs to the parkers as that will probably power your main beams, else possibly fry control circuitry. Isolating diodes must be included.
And how that is done depends whether it's relay controlling wires or power wires.
I'd add an on-off switch for the fogs in case you only want parkers - eg, if you are parking etc.
Hence I'd be inclined to disconnect the control wire to the fog light relay and re-route thru a dash on-off switch which in turn is connected to the park circuit (rear parkers if separate circuits like old vehicles).
If the fogs don't have a relay, I'd fit one.
Later I might add timers (and diodes) to the fog relay circuit for use as puddle lights etc, ie to light the way at night for 30-60 seconds etc. Or other switches to set up tents at night etc.
