i am trying to add cornering lamps to my 1997 nissan maxima using the "pulsed to steady output" diagram i found in the special applications section under relays.  everything is clear except the connections with the capacitor and resistor.  first off what kind of resistor and capacitor do i use?, there seem to be so many different kinds, i was so lost when i was looking at them in radio shack.  Secondly, how exactly are they connected, on the diagram it looks like they are all looped together, help! confused!

I just went threw thie same thing, first of all once you get the correct componets, (Print the diagram and take it to radio shack, and ask for there help) you should follow the diagram exactly, as it does work, and I soldered all my connections, but remember to use a clip on heatsink as you could ruin the capacitor, diode, and resistor if they get too much heat.  If you need any more help on this issue you can email me directly as I just used that exact diagram and made a few setups and it is still fresh in my mind!
