Hey guys whats up...finally stopped being lazy and started my enclosure build.Sub is an Elemental Designs 19Ov.2.6 cubes tuned to 40Hz w/ 112.5 in^2 of port area.Sub up port back.Heres the start of the buildNot really my competition enclosure but a daily 6 cu ft tuned to 40Hz with 112.5 sq inches of port area.Not finished yet of courseWanna Screw???I love this thinghmm..whats this???Mmmm...MDF pasteLast pic before calling it a night...err morning (1:30AM)

I still plan on routering/sanding down the inner port edge so it is smooth and round and not a sharp edge. I haven't had time to go buy some 90* corner clamps so I made due with what the extra speed square that came with my dewalt cirular saw. Does a lot better than my old garage sale skill saw with a dull blade lol. Well I could fit a 35Hz transmission line in the back but it would be 4-5" away from the rear hatch. I may experiment with an SPL TL later on before the MECA competition in April. With this I am going to build a false floor with my amps underneath. Thanks for the comments guys.

Well the box construction is finished...Due to me being lazy and wanting my bass now. I left out the 45s in the corners and only did the port 45. Also I left out the vertical braces and only did the front to back horizontal braces. I'll put the vertical braces before I either carpet or truck bed line the enclosure. It's loud...louder than I expected. I like it. It hurts. I don't listen to it like this everyday though lol...just times when I feel like a good bumpin. The sub sounds very good. Tight crisp bass still. Gets a little sloppy on the super quick double kick drum notes on "Rollin (Urban Assault Vehicle)" by Limp Bizkit. I use this track to test setups for the transient of the double kick. On all other types of music it sounds good...the sub is bandwith limited due to the inductance I think. It's good for 60-65Hz and down. I think I may sell the setup this summer and get a TempestX or two. I like crossing the sub over rather high around 100Hz if I can lol...I know I know it isn't sound quality and you can tell the sub in behind you. But I don't mind it. I like it that way.
