Hi,

I just brought a panasonic dvd vmd9000u on ebay , it doesn't comes with the av control tu 7000u and no wiring diagram , I connected the red and yellow wire to the positive and black to the negative, the unit lights up and the cd inside spinned for few second, unit will not responded to any buttom the i pressed, not sure why it does that ,

if any one know why or have the wiring diagram please email me,

You should gotten it from crutchfield, they're including the $500 control unit for free!  Anyways, it sounds like there's probably something wrong with the unit.

You said it lights up and the CD inside spinned but then it stopped responding....did the lights also turn off?  Or does it still appear to be getting power?

The lights stays on but unit is not responding at all....

Is there a reset button anywhere on the unit (front or back)?

Yes, there is a rest button on the front,
