I have a Sony Xplod xm-1502sx that was given to me by a friend but one of the power supplys is toast. I can fix it myself and it's going to cost me something in the neiborhood of $50. But before I do I'll like to know if this thing is worth it, looks new and it's well built (at least on the inside) but I havent been able to find it's spec's. I did look for it on the Sony website but is not listed and when call Sony they wanted to sell me the manual. Does anyone know what it's power is rms at 4 and 2 ohms(don't care for the max ratings) and if it is stable at 2 ohms bridged and the power rating when bridged.
P.S
Not a cheap amp to fix the parts are all japanese and there are few suplyers on the US.

  • MOSFET Power Supply/Final Stage
  • Full Protection Circuit & 3 Mode Protection Indicator
  • Bridgeable
  • New Gold-Plated Terminal
  • Maximum Output Power 300W x 2 (@4ohm)
  • Or 760W x 1 (@4ohm/BTL)
  • Rated Output Power 150W x 2 (@4ohm)
  • Or 380W x 1 (@4ohm/BTL)
  • S/N Ratio 100dB
  • Variable LPF/HPF 50 - 300Hz (-12dB/oct)
  • Input Sensitivity (0.2-6V)/ High Level (0.4-12V)
  • Low Boost 0-10dB (@40Hz)
  • Dual Mode Capability
  • Frequency Response 5-50kHz
