2001 chevy tahoe, no sound

i installed a after market cd player and a amp. , i connected the wiring harness and cd player comes on and the amp. is working fine but the factory speakers have no sound, what do you think is wrong?

Was there a blue wire labeled power antenna on the harness you purchased? If so did you connect the Blue/White wire of the deck to that wire? If your deck only has a Blue wire, connect that to the Blue wire of the harness.
The harness should have been labeled Factory Amp Turn On.

which harness did you buy? is there a blue/white wire on that harness you bought? do you have a bose system in that tahoe? what about onstar? if you have onstar or a bose premium system these require special adapters

How many harnesses were plugged into the factory radio?  I'm thinking that you had two.  Connect your remote wire to the pink wire on the second harness....that should be your amp turn on wire.  That explains why you have power and everything else just no sound.

i connected the pink wire from the other harnness and now is working perfect, thanx for the help buddie.
